Conditions to be met in order to receive credit for the course Physical Education (PE) for full-time studies in the academic year 2026/2027.
- Sports classes are delivered by Kozminski Sports Club and start from 28.09.2026

- Students may choose one type of sport, which he/she will complete for 30 teaching hours (15 classes) as part of the full-time program.

- When choosing more than one module of classes per week, a club fee of 550 PLN/semester is charged. Students may choose gym classes, the completion of which also allows them to pass PE, but they are subject to an additional fee paid by the student in the amount of 120 PLN/30 days or 50 PLN for a single entry to the gym.
- Rules for passing PE at the gym: only one attendance per day is counted; each workout must last at least 60 minutes; attendance is recorded only after payment; with a PLN 120 pass, only one attendance per week counts towards PE credit.
Medical certificates and excused absences
- A medical certificate does not exempt a student from the obligation to obtain PE credit. It may only constitute grounds for excusing an absence or changing the form in which PE is completed. Students holding a medical certificate covering the entire semester must complete PE in a form adapted to their health, such as sports bridge, chess, e-sports or yoga nidra.
- A medical certificate covering the entire fall semester 2026/2027 must be submitted by 15 October 2026 to the Director of the Kozminski University Sports Centre in room D25 or placed in the box next to room D25. If the medical condition arises or is diagnosed after this deadline, the student must immediately contact the Sports Centre to arrange an alternative solution or begin classes at a later date while still completing the required 13 attendances. If this is not possible, the student should submit a request to the relevant Dean to extend the deadline for obtaining PE credit.
Original paper medical certificates and original electronic documents that allow the issuer to be verified are accepted. A scan or copy may only be used to provide advance notice of an absence and does not replace the original document. Documents issued in a foreign language must be submitted together with a Polish translation. - A short-term medical certificate must be submitted to the instructor without delay and no later than 14 days after the reason for the absence has ceased.
- Medical certificates are not accepted from students who have selected gym attendance as their form of obtaining PE credit. As gym workouts may be completed on different days, a missed session must be made up on another available date.
